Help Cinemanautotentatiology!

We at Cinemanautotentatiology are aware that we cannot possibly have covered every one of the great movies out there; we do not have the hubris to assume that our local Blockbuster contains every movie worth seeing. Some movies we have heard of in rumours; some we know of but have never uncovered; and some are hidden from us, and we may never see but for the grace of you, the reader. If you have information on a movie even suspected of being at all manautotentiotic, we ask you to contact us as soon as possible.

The following is a list of movies we know of, but have yet to obtain.

  • Quicksilver Highway-- This Christopher Lloyd TV movie apparently has a short about murderous body parts, hands included.
  • One Hand, Left-- An independant film about hands. We have yet to determine if the commit violence of any sort.
  • The Hand-- All we know is that it's called The Hand. Arguably, that's all we really need to know, but we'd like to find this movie anyway.

Information regarding these films will be duly appreciated, as would information on any other films you may be aware of that may be of interest to us. The form below is for your convenience in relaying information, however, please be aware that many movies have been observed by our team of professionals, and more often than not thay fail to meet our criteria for a review. The following, in particular, are often suggested, but simply not suitable for this site.

  • The Addams Family-- While the character of Thing is, in fact, a hand, and some of its actions may be observed as attacks, it simply has no corporeal 'self' to attack. This is Cinemanautotentatiology, after all, not just cinemantentatiology!
  • Vampire Hunter D-- Ichirô Nagai is the voice of D's left hand, or more accurately a self-described parasite living in the hand. "Self-described" because, in all honesty, the hand is sometimes quite helpful, and to the eyes of our experts, clearly a symbiote, and ultimately not harmful.
